One of the biggest struggles I had when I first started Facebook Parties was interacting with my guests and posting new content in a timely manner. It was easy to focus on one or the other, but both? At the same time? Virtually impossible.
So when I came across a Facebook App designed specifically for Direct Sales parties that would allow me to pre-schedule my posts and really focus on my customer interaction, I decided to give it a try…and I am so glad I did!
Post My Party is the Facebook App I have been using, and it is literally as easy as setting up a party template, and then scheduling it to your event! I have now run 3 different parties this way, and it takes me all of 5 minutes to set up the party…yup. I said 5 minutes.
Once you log-in to your PostMyParty account, you will likely appreciate the clean user interface. Tutorials are easy to access and watch, as they are literally on the screen in front of you, and you have 2 actions to choose from…create a party template, or schedule a party.
My absolute favorite feature of PostMyParty, by far, is the ability to use replacements! In my party template, I simply put either [host], [link], or [text] anywhere in my posts, and I can customize what goes there when I schedule my party!
PostMyParty allows you to preschedule all of your pre-party posts (think guest engagement!) as well as your actual party posts.
With Facebooks recent changes, it is not recommended to schedule posts closer than 5 minutes apart, in order to avoid the dreaded “Facebook Jail”. Additionally, PostMyParty does limit you to 30 posts per party in order to ensure you are not spamming your parties.
If you, like me, try to use The Tag Team party formula (visit www.tagteampartypeeps.com to learn more about this) for your Facebook parties, these “limitations” are not an issue at all!
With a 2-week FREE TRIAL, go ahead and give PostMyParty a try! You have nothing to lose, and great customer interaction to gain!
**Additional disclaimer: PostMyParty has been blocked by Facebook before when users have abused the app. They work with Facebook to resolve the issues, and place limits on how you can use PostMyParty. The limits they have in place are very generous still, and reflect best practices for using Facebook. If you ignore their limits, you will be blocked from using the app. If you prefer the traditional style of Facebook party that most Paparazzi consultants use where you post several individual images per minute, PostMyParty is not for you. Additionally, you will likely end up in Facebook Jail. Please contact me to learn how I party on Facebook successfully and stay within the limits imposed by PostMyParty.
